Job summary

Novo Building Products is seeking a Material Handler to efficiently move, store, and prepare materials for production and shipment. You will inspect materials, operate forklifts and pallet jacks, and maintain accurate inventory records in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years in a warehouse or manufacturing setting, a high school diploma, and strong attention to detail. Safety, teamwork, and clear communication are essential to success in this role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
• Experience with material handling equipment, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks, is preferred.
• Familiarity with inventory management systems and processes is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials and supplies against purchase orders and packing lists.
• Safely and efficiently transport materials to designated storage areas using forklifts, pallet jacks, or other equipment.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and perform regular stock counts to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Collaborate with the production team to ensure materials are available for manufacturing processes.
• Prepare and package materials for shipment according to customer specifications and company standards.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies while performing material handling tasks.
• Assist in maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment.
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to coordinate material handling activities.
• Identify and report any discrepancies or issues related to inventory or material handling to management.
