Summary

Responsible for moving and processing received waste through established practices. Cares for the cleanliness and orderliness of the floor area and the general plant. Practices Safety procedures.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

• Coordinate loading and unloading of carts
• Maintain unloading area for cleanliness
• QC carts for damages, lack of lids, handles, overall cleanliness
• Cycle carts through tippers and cart washer
• Unload box waste from trailers and place boxes on conveyor
• Monitor number of boxes unloaded and record on documentation
• Operate box waste scale station as required
• Monitor and record scale weights for billing
• Perform general plant cleanup duties

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED preferred
• Flexibility to work days, nights, overtime, and weekends
• Ability to work as a team member safely and responsibly
• Ability to lift loads of 50-75 pounds
• Ability to push and pull loads over 200 pounds
• Strong attention to detail
• Reliable transportation
