Job summary

UTLX Manufacturing LLC is seeking a Safety‑minded Material Handler to join a team-oriented environment within Marmon Holdings’ decentralized network. You will operate forklift and pendant cranes, handle parts and labeling, and support efficient production while meeting physical demands and overtime needs.

Applicants should have a valid driver’s license, be comfortable working outdoors and indoors, and communicate effectively in a fast‑paced setting. This role is on site in Alexandria, VA.

Qualifications

• Experience operating a forklift and pendant controlled crane.
• Capability to read/label parts and track part numbers.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and safe driving history.
• Ability to work outside in varying weather and inside environments.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift and crane safely as part of a manufacturing team.
• Handle parts, manage labeling, and ensure accurate part numbers.
• Maintain strong communication and organization; meet physical demands.

We are looking for a Material Handler that is safety conscious and willing to learn and grow with the business. This is a role where you will work in a TEAM environment where safety always comes first.

Job description

Material Handlers are an integral part of our manufacturing process. The requirements for this position are:

• 1 or more years’ experience operating a forklift and pendant controlled crane
• Experience working with parts, part numbers and labeling
• Must have a valid driver’s license with a safe driving history
• Ability to work outside in various weather conditions and inside
• Effective communication and organizational skills
• Dexterity and attention to detail
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the job
• Availability to work overtime as needed
• Ability to work any shift
