Job summary

Builders FirstSource is seeking an entry-level materials handler to support the movement of materials on site. You will lift and carry items, operate handling equipment, and follow established processes under supervision.

In this role you will receive on-the-job training, work in a production environment, and adhere to safety procedures to protect yourself and coworkers. Additional duties may be assigned as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; on-the-job training provided.
• Knowledge of material handling equipment and safety practices.
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions.

Responsibilities

• Move materials to optimize flow; lift and carry as needed.
• Operate motorized and non-motorized material handling equipment.
• Learn work processes from foreman or senior handlers.
• Follow safety procedures and attend safety meetings.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
