Job summary

Viega LLC in Mantua, OH seeks a Material Handler I to support the production line. You will stock raw materials per the schedule, load and unload materials, and move items from the warehouse into production to ensure continuous operation.

The role requires basic reading, writing and math skills, forklift and pallet jack operation, and a willingness to assist other areas as needed. This is a 1st shift position with full benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1-2 years of experience.
• Ability to operate a forklift and electric pallet jack.
• Ability to interpret production schedule.
• Commitment to safety and quality.
• Willingness to back up other functions as needed.

Responsibilities

• Review production schedule to determine materials needed for production run.
• Move materials from raw material warehouse into production as needed.
• Load/unload materials and ensure continuous material flow.
• Break down and bundle materials for transport and reuse.
• Attend meetings and perform other duties as required.
