Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field required.
• 2+ years of manufacturing experience required.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Experience with supply chain optimization, material flow optimization, and/or layout optimization.
• Experience leading large and difficult continuous improvement projects with autonomy.
• Knowledge of robotic systems or material automation.
• Knowledge of labor optimization tools and time study analysis.
• Willingness to work off‑shift, weekends, or overtime.

Responsabilités

• Drive improvements to material flow, including storage and dock strategies.
• Develop optimized warehousing layouts to maximize material flow efficiency.
• Collaborate with logistics teams to optimize dock schedules and parts management.
• Develop and drive Operational Excellence (OpEx) projects to boost material flow efficiency and reduce labor costs.
• Lead Lean Material Strategies (LMS) initiatives and SLT adherence.
• Design work operations meeting safety, ergonomic, quality, takt, and efficiency requirements.
• Design operations to interact safely with material automation.
• Collaborate with engineering to design new material packaging and staging solutions.
• Coordinate space allocation and layout process using AutoCAD; drive buyoff and sustainment.
• Provide supply chain floor support to UAW members and partners to improve safety, throughput, and standardized work.
• Develop time studies using motion analysis and standard time data (APS, STDS, GMOS).
• Create clear work instructions for cyclic and non‑standard tasks.
