Job summary

Staff Resources, Inc. is seeking an Industrial/Manufacturing Engineer to analyze and improve automotive manufacturing processes in Spring Hill, TN. The role focuses on layout optimization, workflow efficiency, and safety, supporting production launches and tooling deployment.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of Industrial/Manufacturing engineering experience, Lean knowledge, and CAD proficiency (AutoCAD). Automotive experience is a plus, and the candidate should be a proactive team player

Qualifications

Must have 2+ years of Industrial/Manufacturing engineering experience.
Knowledgeable in Lean Manufacturing principles.
Experience with AutoCAD; Microsoft Access knowledge preferred.
Automotive industry experience is a plus.
Must be a team player, proactive and able to work with limited supervision.

Responsibilities

Analyze and improve automotive manufacturing processes to boost productivity, quality, and safety.
Develop and optimize layouts, workstations, material flow, and equipment utilization.
Conduct time studies, line balancing, and capacity analyses.
Create standard work instructions and process documentation.
Identify waste and apply continuous-improvement methods such as Lean, Kaizen, and 5S.
Support new vehicle programs, tooling, and process implementation.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues.
Monitor KPIs to identify cost savings and productivity gains.
Develop capital equipment requirements and ROI analyses.
Coordinate equipment installation, commissioning, and ramp-up.
