Stryker is seeking a Material Handling Process Team Leader on 1st shift in Portage, MI to lead material handling operations ensuring a safe, efficient flow of materials supporting production.

You will develop employees, drive continuous improvement, manage labor planning, and partner with cross-functional teams to meet production goals, quality, and cost targets using Lean, 6S and KPIs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 6+ years of equivalent experience.
• 4+ years of relevant experience.
• People management experience preferred.
• Lean Six Sigma or related experience.

Responsabilités

• Lead and develop the material handling team with coaching and accountability.
• Ensure material flow and replenishment to production schedules.
• Allocate labor and resources based on production needs.
• Identify and troubleshoot material, equipment, or process issues.
• Drive continuous improvement and cost reduction through Lean and 6S.
• Lead MDI process through Tier 2/3 and manage Leader Standard Work.
• Oversee labor planning, overtime approvals, and workforce planning.
• Support recruiting and onboarding for employees.
• Ensure compliance with policies and participate in audits.
