Job summary

Stryker Group is seeking a motivated operator for 2nd shift in Portage, MI. You will coordinate production resources and schedules to meet daily output goals and train teammates on safety, quality, and procedures.

As a first point of contact, you will troubleshoot equipment and processes, document issues, and drive a culture of safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement. OT may be required based on business needs.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 3 years manufacturing experience.
• Willingness to work 2nd shift and overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate production resources and schedules to meet daily output goals.
• Train team members on safety, quality, and procedures.
• Monitor hourly performance and ensure targets are met.
• Execute production schedules and adapt to changing priorities.
• Collaborate with support teams to resolve operational challenges.
• Troubleshoot equipment, process, and quality issues as first contact.
• Document and communicate issues through daily improvement processes.
• Drive safety, teamwork, continuous improvement, and accountability.
