Job summary

Ford Energy seeks a Material Flow Engineer to lead high-volume, automated battery storage production efforts in our Glendale facility. You will optimize material handling, develop labor standards, and collaborate across planning, production, and supply chain to improve safety, quality and efficiency.

With a bachelor’s in engineering and 5+ years in manufacturing, you will help industrialize Ford Energy Battery Systems and support 24/7 operations, including shift flexibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Industrial Engineering preferred).
• 5 or more years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to travel up to 50% for domestic and international assignments.
• Flexibility to support multiple shifts.

Responsibilities

• Lead material flow initiatives to enable continuous production in a high-paced, highly automated facility.
• Manage and optimize the supply chain for on-site Material Handling activities.
• Develop and apply lean methods to improve safety, quality and productivity.
• Industrialize Ford Energy Battery Systems and scale operations at the Glendale facility.
• Design and improve floor layouts, labor standards, and call systems.
• Collaborate with Planning, Inventory Control, Production, and Supply Chain to ensure robust policies.
• Prepare detailed multi-month plans and milestones for assigned projects.
