Job summary

American Rheinmetall Vehicles is seeking a Kitting Material Coordinator to coordinate and expedite the flow of materials, parts, and assemblies across production areas. You will review schedules, determine material requirements, verify deliveries against specifications, and manage in-plant transfers to align with priorities, while ensuring accurate records and ERP system updates.

Qualifications

Associate degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Six months to one year of related experience in material coordination or inventory management.
Manufacturing or aerospace experience preferred.
Background checks required.

Responsibilities

Reviews production schedules and confers with department supervisors to determine material requirements and identify overdue materials.
Establish sequential delivery dates to departments based on job order priorities and material availability.
Examine material delivered to production departments to verify conformance to specifications.
Arrange in-plant transfer of materials to meet production schedules.
Investigate inventory discrepancies and drive to root cause.
Monitor and control movement of material and parts through the Plex ERP system.
Cycle counting of parts under the direction of the Data Integrity Department.
