Job summary

Urschel Laboratories, Inc. is seeking a Material Coordinator to join our Receiving team in Chesterton, IN. This full-time, day-shift role supports manufacturing material flow and inventory accuracy, with occasional Saturday work based on production needs. Starting pay is $25.74/hour.

The candidate will coordinate material movement, prioritize tasks, and work across departments to ensure on-time material availability and smooth production scheduling.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and at least one year of related experience.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to prioritize multiple tasks.
• Basic computer skills; ERP systems and inventory management experience preferred.
• Strong mathematical and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and distribute material-related work across the manufacturing floor.
• Manage and prioritize work through the Material Queue Manager to meet production schedules.
• Serve as central point of coordination for material movement and optimize material flow and inventory accuracy.
• Ensure material requests are reviewed, assigned, and completed on time.
