Job summary

Lacks Enterprises, Inc. is seeking a Material Feed Control to join our Molding Facilities on 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift. The role supports the production team by ensuring proper material feeding to molding machines and maintaining equipment in the material feed system.

Qualifications

• Must be detail and technically oriented.
• Ability to obtain a Hilo license.
• Good organizational skills.
• Thorough understanding of the material feed system.
• General understanding of the injection molding process.

Responsibilities

• Identifies all resins (Virgin and Regrinds).
• Labels all resins according to weight, date, and material type.
• Ensures material lines are hooked up and feeding properly.
• Loads all material.
• Assists in taking dew point readings as instructed by the Process Technician.
• Assists in grinding as instructed by the supervisor.
• Assists in demetallizing and sifting of regrind (where applicable).
• Cleans grinders and sets up on the presses that are running.
• Maintains all equipment associated with the material feed system.
• Sets up presses after mold changes.
• Helps on the floor if time allows (where applicable).
• Keeps material packs organized and labeled (where applicable).
• Records lot numbers on log sheets and enters into Mattec (where applicable).
• Breaks down empty gaylords (where applicable).
• Performs other tasks assigned by designated supervisor.
