Job summary

Foreman Tool and Mold is seeking 2nd and 3rd shift Material Handlers to join our busy injection molding team in Lombard, IL. Roles involve loading, weighing, mixing materials, colorant handling and keeping accurate records. On-the-job training is provided, with opportunities to advance to Set up Technician positions.

We value reliability, attendance and teamwork. Candidates should be able to operate a sit-down forklift, lift up to 70 pounds, and adapt quickly to our fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must be able to load and mix materials, clean hoppers and keep materials ready.
• Able to weigh and track materials, mix colorants and record data.
• Must follow procedures, be safety conscious and reliable.
• Willing to learn Set up Technician tasks and grow with the company.

Foreman Tool and Mold is a busy injection molder and we are looking for 2nd and 3rd shift Material Handlers. We need to add to our existing employees. We are a growing company with a clean, safe environment. We produce mainly, automotive and switch components. Material Handlers normally load and mix material, clean hoppers, ensure boxes and material is ready and available. Material Handlers do not need experience. They can get on the job training, they just need to be able to learn quick, follow directions, be thorough and double check their work. Once the Material Handler job is mastered, training to be Set up Technicians is available. Set up technicians, set the molds, connect water lines, and do basic start ups on injection molding machines. We would like set up technicians with experience. We would like a person capable of doing and/or learning both jobs.The right candidate will:be able to safely, operate sit down forkliftbe able to lift up to 70 pounds, 50 pounds regularlybe safety conscious, careful and follow proceduresload materials, be able to weigh and keep track of materials, mix colorants and keep accurate recordsideally, have some injection Molding experience: Past material handling and/or set up experiencebe reliable, have great attendance and be a team playerbe able to set molds, connect water lines or be capable of learning howbe capable to learn and grow with our Company.
