Job summary

The role serves as the resource for acquisition of supplies, services and equipment, and manages inventory par levels and inventory control to support patient care and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associates or Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Knowledge in all aspects of supply/equipment processing, ordering or automated system.
• Experience with standard office software.
• Clinical efficiency.
• Ability to educate staff on use and cleaning of specialized equipment.
• Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of universal precautions.
• Effective oral and written communication.
• Ability to make decisions independently; self-driven and a skilled negotiator.
• BLS certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross.

Responsibilities

• Provide oversight, coordination, organization and timely procurement of specialty materials, supplies and equipment for assigned department areas.

• Collaborate with clinical and support staff to ensure timely availability of equipment and supplies.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and universal precautions.
• Train staff on proper use and cleaning of equipment.
