Job summary

Amazon Kuiper Manufacturing Enterprises LLC in Everett, WA is seeking a Material Coordinator to efficiently handle material for production and development. You will use ERP systems to transact material, document issues, and collaborate with quality, planning and EHS to drive safe, productive outcomes.

You will train new hires, meet safety and quality standards, operate forklifts and pallet jacks, and support SOP improvements while learning new processes in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 2+ years of Excel experience preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 49 pounds, stand/walk up to 12 hours, and perform physical tasks.

Compensation and Benefits

The starting pay for this role in Washington State is up to $32/hour and employees are eligible for incremental raises based on tenure. A full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits are provided. This information is provided per the Washington State Pay Transparency Act. Base pay information is based on market location. Key job responsibilities
  • Accurately and efficiently handle material for both production and development efforts.
  • Use proprietary software and ERP systems to virtually transact material.
  • Document system issues, process flaws and inefficiencies.
  • Communicating with quality control, purchasing and other related departments to resolve problems.
  • Efficiently move material between sites, both physically and virtually.
  • Identify training needs for the team and assist in the training of new-hires and junior peers.
  • Meet safety, productivity and quality standards by following best practices.
  • Resolve individual work blockers and knowing when to escape if you are unable to resolve yourself.
  • Learn new processes.
  • Operate equipment including: forklifts, pallet jacks, electric pallet jacks, and hand carts.
  • Contribute to the improvement of SOPs including safety procedures.
Additional Requirements
  • Shift schedule may vary depending on program needs and may include a weekend day.
  • Standing for long periods of time, climbing up and down ladders, bending, grasping, sitting, pulling, pushing, stooping, and stretching may be required to perform the functions of this position.
A day in the life

The Amazon Leo team is looking for motivated, customer-focused individuals who want to join us as a Material Coordinator. You will be responsible for processing materials in order to support our customer, the satellite production team. You will also interact with peer teams such as planning, quality, and EHS to ensure our processes result in positive outcomes for these teams. You are a problem solver and is comfortable performing a variety of procedures and troubleshooting standard tasks.

Basic Qualifications
  • High school or equivalent diploma
  • 2+ years of with Excel experience
  • Can lift up to 49 pounds, stand/walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours, and be able to frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach
  • Work flexible schedules including weekends, nights, and holidays
  • Work 40 hours/week, and overtime as required
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience identifying and solving complex problems through data analysis
  • 3+ years of Microsoft Excel experience

The starting pay for this position is listed below, including the base pay rate plus the highest available shift differential which applies depending on the shift you select. As a total compensation company, additional earnings may include shift differentials and overtime pay. Final pay will be based on factors including shift selection and location.
