The role involves gathering, analyzing, translating, and delivering information in clear, concise, and meaningful formats based on specific project and/or program requirements, following established project management standards. Responsibilities include supporting the project manager in scheduling, documentation, communication, and cost management, updating project plans, assisting in information collection and validation, providing input for project research, facilitating collaborative documents and data stores, and helping prepare status reports and presentations. The role may also involve coordinating activities of a project sub-team and/or project activities that could impact task completion.
This is a standard operations position responsible for maintaining and coordinating daily work plans that optimize resource use with a focus on safety, customer satisfaction, quality improvement, and regulatory compliance. Tasks include generating work orders, performing final reviews, closing out completed work packets, and ensuring high data accuracy within all operating systems to support data integrity.
Minimum requirements include at least three years of relevant industry experience in construction, design, maintenance, or operations (utility experience preferred). Candidates should have a solid understanding of work functions such as work order management, payroll, invoicing, materials, compliance, policies, and safety. Demonstrated ability to schedule and manage work activities to meet customer and stakeholder requirements is essential. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or other spreadsheet tools, with the ability to retrieve and manipulate data from reporting tools, is required. Excellent oral and written communication skills and strong knowledge of MS Office are also necessary.
