Responsibilities

• Coordinate movement, procurement, expediting, and delivery of materials to support production schedules.
• Monitor inventory levels and maintain inventory accuracy.
• Investigate and resolve material shortages and inventory discrepancies.
• Process inbound and outbound material transactions as needed.
• Review critical shortage reports and expedite parts to prevent production interruptions.
• Monitor order queues and workflow progression to support on-time order completion.
• Coordinate daily departmental activities and priorities.
• Track action items and ensure timely follow-up and completion.
• Identify at-risk orders and support recovery plans to minimize customer impact.
• Serve as a liaison between production employees and support teams.
• Communicate operational updates, process changes, and department priorities.
• Track and report KPIs including delivery, backlog, productivity, quality, and safety metrics.
• Assist audits, compliance, and corrective action tracking; support training coordination and scheduling.
• Identify process improvement opportunities and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Coordinate operational supply needs, equipment requests, and maintenance activities.

Pay: $24.00 - $26.00/hour
Shift: 2nd/3rd Shift Split Schedule (Overtime Available)

Position Overview

We are seeking a Material Coordinator to support manufacturing operations by ensuring materials, inventory, and production schedules remain aligned to meet customer and production demands. This position serves as a critical link between production teams and support departments, helping maintain inventory accuracy, coordinate material flow, resolve shortages, and support daily operational activities.

The ideal candidate will be organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while managing multiple priorities and supporting continuous improvement efforts.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience working with inventory systems, production schedules, or ERP systems is a plus.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

Additional Information

• Metatarsal safety boots are required.
• Overtime may be required based on production needs.
• Visa sponsorship is not available now or in the future for this position.
