- Prints anddistributespick tickets and performs computer transactions as necessary.
- Organizessequenceof pulling material and relays information to Material Support.
- Ensuresproduction schedules are met by timely and accurate processing and movement of goods. Assists during daily peak times to include operating material handling equipment and perform all necessary computer transactions.
- Ensures good communication and feedback with management, employees on their shift,and between shifts.
- When assigned,assiststhe supervisor/area manager with Continuous Improvement Projects, evaluation of new equipment, determination of training needs and interviewing/hiring.
- Monitors andenforcesshop floor control systems.
- Follows all safety procedures, wears properPPE. Proactively identifies and corrects unsafe conditions.
- Studies systems and procedures for opportunities for improvement. Proposes changes to Materials Manager.
- Other duties as assigned.

- Some physicaldemand,often lifts light to heavy-weight material. Frequent lifting/moving average weight (up to 50lbs/11-27 kgs) material.
- Ability to performoccasionalto frequent pushing, pulling, bending, kneeling, twisting, crawling and/or reaching over a full work shift (8-12 hours).
- Ability to operate motorized vehicles over a full work shift (8-12 hours).
- Ability to stand and / or walk constantly over a full work shift on concrete (8-12 hours).
- May be exposed to noise levels for which hearing protection must be worn over a full work shift (8-12 hours).
