Job summary

Scorpion Therapeutics is seeking a Material Coordinator to manage inventoried materials, perform receiving, inventory control, tracking, and fulfill internal requests in a warehouse setting.

Responsibilities include picking and staging materials for production, posting receipts, ERP updates, cycle counts, and maintaining organized storage areas. Must have 2+ years in warehousing and familiarity with ERP systems.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; 2+ years of inventory and/or warehouse experience.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel preferred.
  • Computer entry and typing skills necessary.

  • Perform cycle counts according to plan.
  • Support scrap reporting and scrap removal.
  • Verify inventory quality by inspecting label legibility, product qty, item, and batch.
  • Pull, load, transport, and unload inventory into various warehouse locations.

Job description

Position Summary:

The Material Coordinator manages inventoried materials, including receiving, inventory control, tracking, and filling orders in a warehouse setting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Pick and stage materials for production orders and internal requests
  • Post receipts for incoming raw materials and finished product from external suppliers
  • Put away released materials into inventory locations
  • Create and post ERP journals for material movements
  • Create and/or move inventory locations physically and in the ERP
  • Maintain and organize inventory storage areas
  • Consolidate materials to free up stocking space
  • Perform cycle counts according to plan
  • Support scrap reporting and scrap removal
  • Verify inventory quality by inspecting label legibility, product qty, item, and batch
  • Pull, load, transport, and unload inventory into various warehouse locations
  • Complete and follow assigned training; follow company policies and practices
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
Education and Experience:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; 2+ years of inventory and/or warehouse experience
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel preferred
  • Computer entry and typing skills necessary
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment; multitask; strong verbal and written communication
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Strong attention to detail; basic math knowledge
  • Lift up to 35 lbs; work independently
  • Meet deadlines; work under pressure; be on your feet
  • Work in coolers and freezers; problem solve and elevate issues
  • Adapt to change; support team environment
  • Learn and use ERP; learn and be certified on powered pallet jack (forklift certification if needed)
