Job summary

John Deere Davenport Works in Davenport, IA is seeking a Material Coordinator to manage critical materials, coordinate with Operations, Engineering, and Supply Chain, and ensure materials availability at point of use.

You will oversee inventory, analyze data, and drive cross-functional actions in a fast-paced production environment; SAP experience is a plus, and overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, logistics, or engineering or equivalent related work experience.
• Experience in supply management or material flow such as planning/scheduling, logistics, or material replenishment.
• Ability to work overtime, weekends, and off hours as business needs.

Responsibilities

Your Responsibilities

As a Material Coordinator for JD Davenport Works located in Davenport, IA you will:

• Understand critical parts for product line - including both purchased and manufactured materials.Communicate cross-functionally to ensure materials are available at point of use.
• Oversee inventory for product line, understanding root cause of discrepancies, and work through corrective action.
• Work closely with Operations, Engineering, and Supply Chain teams to support factory operational goals.
• Strong interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to excel in a cross-functional team environment.
• Experience with prioritizing multiple tasks/projects with the ability to shift priorities as needed in a fast-paced production environment
• Experience working proactively in a self-guided environment with the ability to seek out additional responsibility
• Experience analyzing data and solving problems to achieve desired results

What Makes You Stand Out
