Job summary

Lockheed Martin in Marietta, GA is seeking a Material Handler/Warehouse/Inventory Management professional to track tools through the rework/repair cycle and manage stocking and accountability on the shop floor.

You'll handle receiving, warehousing, and shipping of materials, operate forklifts and cranes, and use standard warehouse systems while supporting production in a fabrication environment. This role emphasizes safety and reliability.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience in segregating, routing and controlling the flow of project or standard tools; tracking through rework/repair and stocking accountability.
• Experience in receiving, warehousing, and shipping in an industrial environment.
• Experience in production control tasks supporting fabrication/assembly environments; receipt, handling, movement, storage, delivery and tracking of materials, parts and tools.
• Ability to lift 25 pounds overhead and push/pull rolling weight over 50 pounds.
• Ability to operate mechanical/motor driven equipment (hoists, cranes, forklifts, etc.) and obtain required certifications.
• Experience operating various computer platforms and warehouse systems.

Your Responsibilities Will Include

• Receiving, warehousing, and shipping materials, parts, and tools within an industrial environment
• Performing production control tasks and activities in support of a fabrication and/or assembly environment
• Lifting and moving raw materials, parts, tools, equipment, and associated materials in a warehouse environment
• Operating mechanical/motor driven equipment such as hoist, towing equipment, cranes, tugs, forklifts, high lift picker, and similar electric and gas powered devices
• Using various computer platforms, such as desktop general business operation systems and general quality warehouse systems

Basic Qualifications

Candidate is required to have two (2) years experience in any one or combination of the following occupations:

• Documented experience in segregating, routing and controlling the flow of new, used, damaged or surplus Project or Standard Tools. Experience should entail the tracking of such tools through the rework/repair cycle and ultimate assignment of stocking and maintaining accountability of various standard tools and equipment within a shop floor environment.
• Documented experience in Receiving, Warehousing, and Shipping within an Industrial environment.
• Documented experience in performing Production Control tasks and Activities in support of a Fabrication and or Assembly environment. Experience must include the receipt, handling, movement, storage, delivery, and tracking of various materials, parts and tools.

NOTES: Individual must have the ability to lift and move raw material, parts, tools, equipment, and associated materials in a warehouse environment of 25 pounds over head and manually push/pull rolling weight over 50 pounds.

Individual must be able to provide documentation validating experience in operating mechanical/motor driven equipment such as hoist, towing equipment, cranes to include overhead crane or corrugated carton machine, tugs, forklifts, high lift picker, and similar electric and gas powered devices that are used to move and store large items; and be able to obtain required certifications for operating various mechanical/motor driven equipment.

Individual must have experience in operating various computer platforms, such as Desktop general business operation systems, and general quality warehouse systems.

Shift assignment is subject to change based on operational needs and requirements.

Pay Information

• $18.87 - $41.52
