Job summary

Honda Aircraft seeks a Material Control Supervisor to lead daily material control activities, ensure timely goods receipt and issue, and optimize inventory storage. You will coordinate with procurement and quality, supervise cycle counts, and maintain the operation management system to support production.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of leadership experience, with preferred SAP, Excel, and PowerPoint skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field.
• 3+ years of leadership experience in a logistics environment.
• Working knowledge of SAP preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint preferred.
• Knowledge of inventory control procedures and techniques preferred.
• Ability to operate in a dynamic environment and make strong decisions.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily material control operations including goods issues/receipts and movements.
• Manage warehouse inventory control, stocking, bin maintenance, and cycle counts.
• Lead cross-functional coordination with procurement and quality on material moves.
• Present plans to senior management for space utilization and storage techniques.
• Provide leadership and foster teamwork; ensure strong customer service at all levels.
• Support C-TPAT initiatives and serve as the materials control contact.
• Maintain operations in the operation management system per Honda Aircraft.
• Report anomalies or issues to the manager.
