Job summary

Aerotek is seeking a Material Handler for the 1st shift in Mesa, AZ. This contract-to-hire role focuses on moving, storing, and tracking materials to keep production running efficiently. Expect use of RF scanners, forklifts, and pallet jacks in a safety-conscious environment.

The role requires high school diploma, physical stamina, and ability to work Monday–Friday 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. with potential overtime and career advancement within a modern, air-conditioned facility.

Qualifications

• Experience in material handling or warehouse operations.
• Proficiency with RF scanners to track materials and locations.
• Ability to lift, bend, and stand for long periods.
• Strong attention to detail and safety compliance.

Responsibilities

• Transport materials to production, warehouse, and shipping zones.
• Supply lines with required materials to meet production schedules.
• Perform cycle counts and report discrepancies.
• Label, organize, and store materials for space optimization.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, RF scanners safely per guidelines.
• Load/unload shipments and ensure timely delivery to correct locations.
• Maintain clean, safe work area in line with OSHA guidelines.
• Identify safety hazards and report issues to supervisor.
• Document material movements to support inventory accuracy.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of material handling processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to coordinate flow.
