Job summary

JoCo is seeking a Materials Control Specialist to support procurement and supply chain operations by coordinating purchasing activities, tracking materials, and assisting with supplier transactions in an industrial setting. The role partners with internal teams and vendors to ensure orders are placed, received, documented, and delivered on time.

Responsibilities include processing purchase requests in Oracle, supporting procure-to-pay tasks, tracking orders, and maintaining accurate purchasing

Qualifications

• Experience in procurement, supply chain, oil and gas, or similar industrial setting.
• Ability to manage multiple purchasing and administrative activities.
• Familiarity with pipe, valves, fittings, or material purchasing is preferred but not required.

What are the responsibilities?

As a Materials Control Specialist, you will:

• Process purchase requests and receiving transactions through Oracle.

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple purchasing and administrative activities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with internal teams and suppliers.
• Familiarity with pipe, valves, fittings, or material purchasing is preferred but not required.
• Willingness and ability to learn new materials, processes, and procurement systems.
