APPLIED OPTOELECTRONICS INC is seeking a detail-oriented Material Control Planner for our Sugar Land, Texas office. The role involves ensuring accurate inventory management, planning and scheduling of production materials, and maintaining vendor relationships. Candidates should possess a BA/BS in Supply Chain Management or a related area, along with at least 2 years of related experience. Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Excel is required, and Mandarin Chinese speaking is preferred. Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in supply chain planning, preferably in manufacturing.
• Knowledge of Six Sigma and Lean Certification is a plus.
• Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
