Job summary

BW Papersystems, part of the Barry-Wehmiller Group, seeks a Material Control Coordinator to ensure critical parts reach customers quickly and minimize downtime for corrugated equipment.

You will coordinate internal resources to meet a 10-day delivery target, monitor stock levels, and communicate across internal teams and with customers to resolve issues promptly while maintaining accurate inventory records.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Update Customer Service Representatives on order progress and status.
• Monitor and manage stock levels of parts for the corrugated equipment.
• Process customer orders from around the world with a 10-day delivery goal.
• Communicate with internal teams and customers to resolve issues quickly.
• Maintain notes on order status in the inventory system for accuracy.
• Respond to customer emails promptly; participate in rotating inbox duties.
• Stay calm and focused in a fast-paced, multi-demand environment.
• Verify received items against purchase orders and update inventory counts.
• Stay informed about engineering changes affecting parts inventory and adjust orders.
• Support customers with parts needs, including legacy systems.
