Job summary

Pioneer Industrial Corporation is seeking a Material Control Manager to oversee material planning, inventory control, and flow to support on-time customer delivery across facilities. You will manage demand planning, inventory accuracy, and cross-functionally align with Manufacturing, Purchasing, Warehouse, and Finance teams.

Responsibilities include leading cycle counts, adjusting inventory, and driving continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work history in a technical field.
• Proven experience managing inventory across multiple facilities.
• Strong knowledge of inventory control principles (cycle counting, safety stock, reorder points).
• Understanding of demand forecasting and capacity planning.
• Experience with Lean, Six Sigma or continuous improvement methods.
• Knowledge of domestic and international shipping regulations.
• Analytical and data-driven decision making.
• Proficient in Excel and ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop data-driven material planning strategies to analyze and manage inventory levels, ensuring optimal material availability while minimizing excess and obsolete stock.
• Collaborate with other teams to align material demand/availability and resolve material accuracy issues.
• Oversee and administer the inventory control program across all facilities and locations.
• Lead cycle count programs and inventory audits to ensure accurate system and physical inventory alignment.
• Authorize and control inventory adjustments with proper documentation and compliance.
• Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory requirements related to material handling.
• Track inbound shipments and resolve discrepancies, shortages, damages, and in-transit issues.
