Job summary

Kdc One in Ohio is seeking a Material Control Lead to manage receiving, picking, staging, auditing and shipping of components and finished goods. You will support production material flows, conduct inventory counts, and reconcile variances in line with SOPs and WI.

Qualifications

• 3+ years minimum warehouse experience in a manufacturing environment.
• forklift certification preferred; stand up reach/sit down counterbalance.
• SAP experience is preferred.
• Computer proficient with ERP and Microsoft Office applications, Strong Excel skills required.
• Must have strong prioritization skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational, planning and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to exercise sound, independent judgment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate receiving, shipping, and material request functions with internal and external stakeholders.
• Ensure accurate Gate conversion of pallets from WIP to Finished Goods.
• Accurately issue/return components to/from production using SAP transactions.
• Schedule inbound deliveries and outbound shipments with local/regional trucking companies.
• Complete and retain all receiving/shipping documentation per SOPs/WIs.
• Enter order information in SAP and manage inventory reconciliations.
• Distribute pick lists to forklift operators based on production/shipping schedules.
• Operate powered industrial equipment following safety procedures.
• Maintain safety equipment and compliance with policies.
• Perform inventory cycle counts and investigate discrepancies.
• Create/manage SAP support tickets for production-impacting system issues.
• Maintain clean, safe work environment and apply lean techniques.
• Support special assignments as needed.
