Job summary

The Vertiv Corporation is seeking an Product Material Compliance Engineer Intern in Westerville, OH. You will analyze products for RoHS, REACH, TSCA, PoPs, PFAS compliance and align with customer requirements, working with procurement and engineering to improve data in systems and supplier inputs.

You will support ESG and sustainability activities, develop expertise in regulations, and help drive process improvements across the team in a fast-paced, global environment.

Qualifications

• Background in chemistry, chemical engineering, materials science, environmental engineering, or related discipline required.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
• Experience with BOM management systems and PLM tools is a plus.
• English fluent written and spoken; strong analytical and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Utilize material compliance processes to ensure products are compliant and launch schedules met.
• Assist in gathering and managing material compliance data between product development and external providers.
• Develop subject matter expertise on material regulations and best practices.
• Improve team processes to enhance efficiency and data quality.
• Enter data into environmental compliance databases daily.
