To help us drive excellence, you’ll get to:

1. Communicate within the department and production regarding customer requirements and changes to demands.
2. Prioritize activities within production and the Shipping area to ensure requirements are met on time.
3. Work with Materials/Shipping/Production to maintain 100% delivery performance and ensure that all shipments are made as required by the customer.
4. Perform data entry for the Materials Department, including but not limited to Shippers, ASNs, and customer purchase orders.
5. Maintain QAD as it applies to Shipping and customer orders.
6. Engage in daily interaction with customer systems (Honda Supply Team, DDL, SMART, etc.), as required and according to policies, including manual releases and EDI.

This full-time, salaried role is part of our Materials team and reports to the Materials Manager.

Required experience:

1. Experience in an Automotive/Shipping environment as it pertains to customer systems (Honda, ACH, Ford, JCI, AAM, DCX), customer service, Shipping paperwork, EDI, and ASNs.
2. Computer literacy, including detailed Microsoft Office and QAD (Materials/Shipping) experience.
3. Daily contact with carriers to schedule and cancel trucks.
4. Work with Operations and Production personnel to ensure quality issues are addressed in a timely manner to meet customer requirements.
