Job summary

Elite Fitness in Seymour, CT seeks an energetic instructor to lead safe, community-focused fitness classes. You will be responsible for maintaining current CPR and aerobic certifications and for upholding the Elite brand standards.

This role requires professionalism, adherence to club policies, and the ability to assist members or escalate requests to a manager as needed. Previous experience in a fitness center is a plus, and the position may require some administrative duties such as sign-in

Qualifications

• CPR certification must be current and valid.
• Nationally accredited aerobic certification (AFAA, ACE, or NASM) preferred.
• Yoga or Pilates certification also acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Maintain all mandatory education certifications.
• Follow all instructor sign-in/sign-out procedures.
• Understand, and follow all policies, procedures, and standards.
• Demonstrate knowledge of the Elite brand and model behavior in accordance with Elite mission statement.
• Facilitate all member requests or forward to a manager.
• Maintain professional disposition at all times.
• Follow all club/facility policies and procedures.
• Follow all policies and procedures in Employee Handbook.
