Job summary

Elite Fitness Club in Connecticut is seeking a qualified fitness instructor to lead safe, effective exercise classes and uphold all certification requirements.

You will maintain CPR and other fitness certifications, follow club policies, and assist members while modeling professionalism.

This role requires strong communication and adherence to Elite brand standards; duties may adapt as policies change.

Qualifications

• Maintain CPR Certification.
• Nationally Accredited Aerobic Certification AFAA, ACE or NASM preferred.
• Valid Yoga or Pilates Certification also acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Instruct safe and effective exercise classes.
• Maintain all mandatory education certifications.
• Follow all instructor sign-in/sign-out procedures.
• Understand, and follow all policies, procedures, and standards.
• Demonstrate knowledge of the Elite brand and model behavior in accordance with Elite mission statement.
• Facilitate all member requests or forward to a manager.
• Maintain professional disposition at all times.
• Follow all club/facility policies and procedures.
• Follow all policies and procedures in Employee Handbook.
