Job summary

NaphCare is hiring a Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) LPN to join our team in Ocala, FL, serving individuals in Marion County Jail. The role focuses on MAT administration, assessments, and patient education within a secure correctional environment.

The LPN will work with correctional officers and medical staff, perform physical assessments, manage chronic illnesses, and respond to emergencies while ensuring confidentiality and safety.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a Licensed Practical Nursing program.
• Active state licensure as LPN/LVN.
• BLS CPR Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments for MAT eligibility.
• Administer MAT medications as prescribed and monitor effects.
• Educate patients on MAT medications and adherence.
• Monitor induction, stabilization, and treatment phases.
• Maintain medical records in TechCare EHR.
• Provide emergency first aid and discharge planning.
