Quinault Wellness Center (QWC) in Aberdeen, WA, seeks a Dispensing Nurse (RN/LPN) to join a Substance Use Disorder treatment team. You will dispense medications, monitor patients, and perform nursing assessments in a MAT program.

The role emphasizes safety, HIPAA compliance, and collaboration with providers, counselors, and the treatment team to deliver compassionate care in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Three (3) or more years of nursing experience (RN/LPN).
• Current Washington State RN or LPN license in good standing.
• Current BLS certification.
• Knowledge of primary care, mental health, and substance use disorder treatment.
• Understanding of medication dispensing and accountability.
• Familiarity with Washington RCWs/WACs, federal regs, HIPAA, and 42 CFR Part 2.
• Strong ethics, confidentiality, and patient-centered care.

Responsabilités

• Safely administer Methadone, Buprenorphine/Naloxone, Buprenorphine, and other medications as ordered.
• Maintain medication security, inventory, and dispensing records.
• Conduct and document daily dispensing and dosing procedures.
• Monitor patients on MAT and communicate changes to the treatment team.
• Perform nursing assessments and provide education on medications and recovery.
• Perform breath alcohol testing, urinalysis, and clinical procedures as needed.
• Document encounters and activities in the EHR.
• Maintain confidential records and comply with regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with providers, counselors, and team members to address patient needs.
• Coordinate dosing with the local jail when required.
• Maintain HIPAA and 42 CFR Part 2 compliance.
