Job summary

Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated Software Test Engineering intern/co-op to join our team and participate in different phases of the Software Test lifecycle in close collaboration with the development teams and Project Engineers to drive defects to closures.

In this role you will learn to develop and execute automated and manual Test Plans/Test Cases, prioritize concurrent projects, reproduce and triage defects, and help build test plans for new features and operating

Qualifications

Familiarity with software quality analysis methods and processes.
Experience configuring PC software/hardware and troubleshooting.
Proficient in Python, VBA, C++, Selenium for test automation.
Interest in PC gaming and graphics technologies.
Exposure to Linux/Windows development/triaging/debugging.
Exposure to databases and reporting tools.

Responsibilities

Assist in developing and executing automated and manual Test Plans and Test Cases across multiple test strategies.
Prioritize and manage several concurrent testing tasks and projects.
Reproduce, troubleshoot, and triage defects; report findings and drive to closure.
Create Test Cases/Plans for new features, products (GPU/CPU), and operating systems (Linux/Windows).
