High Point Affiliated Organizations is hiring a Master’s Level Clinician for the Plymouth, MA OTP program. The role offers a $2,000 sign-on bonus and a salaried schedule of 40 hours per week.

The position runs Monday through Friday with an early morning shift from 5:00 AM to 1:00 PM, serving a program focused on substance use treatment and mental health care. Minimum requirements include a Master’s degree in a related field and licensure as applicable, with patient-centered clinical services,

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in one of the listed disciplines or closely related field.
• Minimum of one year of supervised substance use and/or mental health counseling experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Crisis intervention and maintain assigned caseload.
• Provide clinical services including assessments, individual counseling, discharge and aftercare planning, treatment plans, and weekly progress notes.
• Deliver daily groups and complete group notes; make referrals when appropriate.
• Maintain medical records with timely and thorough entries; coordinate aftercare.

Description

Location: High Point Opioid Treatment Program (OTP) - Plymouth, MA
Education: Master's degree in one of the following disciplines or a closely related field: clinical psychology, education counseling, medicine, psychology, psychiatric nursing, rehabilitative counseling, or social work.
Pay Range: $68,640-$81,120 salaried annually depending on experience, education and licensure. $2,000 sign-on bonus!
Status: Full Time; 40hrs/week
Shift: Monday-Friday, 5AM-1PM

Master's Level Clinician Requirements

• Must always present as courteous and professional;
• Maintains and submits any current Licensure or Certificate necessary for the performance of the position;
• Demonstrated flexibility and ability to perform multiple tasks;
• Must have excellent communication skills, including the ability to organize ideas in logical and clear fashion;
• Knowledge of basic computer skills and software programs including the ability to learn, use and train HPAO Electronic Health Record (EHR);
• Must have the ability to work with others in a cooperative and collaborative manner;
• An understanding of the relationship between substance uses and mental health issues and/or self-help programs;
• Understand and maintain therapeutic boundaries;
• Reinforce rules in a respectful manner;
• Comply with Federal Regulations, 42 CFR Part 2, Confidentiality of Substance Use Disorder and HIPAA Regulations;
• TB/Flu and Covid19 Assessment;
• Annual Completion of the HPAO crisis de-escalation program;

• Successful completion of all trainings upon hire and annually as required.

Master's Level Clinician Duties and Responsibilities

• Crisis intervention;
• Maintain assigned caseload;
• Providing clinical services to patients – including required assessments, individual counseling, discharge and aftercare planning, treatment plans and updates, weekly progress notes, daily groups facilitation, group note completion, and completion of bio-psychosocial assessments;
• Making referrals when appropriate;
• Responsible for each assigned patients' medical records, maintaining professional, complete and thorough entries made in a timely manner;
• Responsible connecting patients with aftercare services prior to discharge and aiding them in family access services when appropriate;
• Communicating/involving family in treatment at patients request;
• Attend and participate in all unit, facility meetings, case conferences, Treatment Team meetings, and mandatory trainings, as directed by the Clinical Director;
• Responsible for continued education in the field of substance use, mental health and related courses;
• Always utilize standards precautions;
• Demonstrates behaviors that recognize the rights of patients as defined by the patient’s rights;
• Completion of all required external clinical communications including court/DCF/DMH monthly compliance reports, evaluation summaries, other requested external documentation;
• Ability to provide clinical services through in-person and telehealth modalities;
• Maintain professional license in good standing, as applicable;
• Responsible for contacting the insurance company for authorization, as needed;
• Other duties as assigned by the Clinical Director, Program Administrator, or Site Director.

Master's Level Clinician Qualifications

• Master’s degree in one of the following disciplines or a closely related field: clinical psychology, education-counseling, medicine, psychology, psychiatric nursing, rehabilitative counseling, social work.
• Minimum of one year of supervised substance use and/or mental health disorder counseling experience preferred.
