Job summary

MK Services in Middleton, MA is expanding and seeking a turning-focused programmer with 3–5+ years of CNC turning programming experience, preferably with aerospace/defense/medical background. Mastercam is required; Gibbs CAMWorks and SolidWorks exposure is a plus.

You will work closely with machinists and engineering to deliver high-mix/low-volume parts. This on-site role offers a strong benefits package, flexible schedules, and clear growth opportunities within a precision manufacturing team

Qualifications

3–5+ years CNC turning programming experience; aerospace/defense/medical background preferred.
Mastercam required; exposure to Gibbs CAMWorks and SolidWorks helpful.
Machining expertise: materials, turning strategies, and quality systems knowledge.
Strong troubleshooting mindset and good communication.

Responsibilities

Program CNC turning for single-spindle/turret and multi-axis dual-spindle/dual-turret lathes to produce complex components.
Collaborate with machinists to launch new jobs, optimize feeds/speeds, and resolve issues.
Define op sequences, datums, and inspection plans using ASME Y14.5 GD&T and 3D models.
Maintain traceability with proven posts (.nc files) and complete setup documentation.
