Job summary

Tourneau|Bucherer is seeking an experienced Watchmaker to perform in-store maintenance, overhauls, and quality control checks on watches. You will also support Client Advisors in selling watches to enhance the client experience at our luxury retail location.

The role requires strong hands-on skills, a minimum of five years in watchmaking, and a Rolex Level 30 certification. Flexible scheduling and teamwork are essential to success.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of watchmaking experience or equivalent certifications.
• Rolex Level 30 Certification is required.
• Hands-on, team-oriented approach to complete repairs.
• Flexible to work across a variable schedule.
• Strong attention to detail and mechanical aptitude.

Responsibilities

• Service a watch completely, including maintenance and overhauls.
• Clean cases and bracelets with ultrasonic cleaner and steam machine where applicable.
• Replace pins and screws as needed.
• Perform water resistance testing and document results.
• Test rate deviation with timing machine for mechanical watches.
• Install batteries with correct size and voltage; ensure terminals are clean.
• Test voltage, rate and coil resistance with quartz analyser.
• Conduct quality control on in-store and out-of-store repaired watches per Tourneau standards.
• Inform Service/Client Advisor if additional servicing is required.
• Maintain equipment and tools; engage with clients to educate on technical processes.
