Job summary

CD Peacock 1837 Inc in Oak Brook, IL seeks a skilled Watchmaker to provide aftercare and maintenance for luxury timepieces. You will perform complete services, dial and hand fittings, and partial repairs in a state-of-the-art workshop, working with seasoned watchmakers to uphold top quality and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Previous bench experience servicing luxury mechanical and quartz timepieces.
• Strong knowledge of luxury watch movements, products, and watchmaking procedures.
• Rolex Level 30 accreditation is strongly preferred.
• Excellent diagnostic, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail and precision craftsmanship.
• Excellent hand-eye coordination and fine manual dexterity.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, service, and repair luxury mechanical and quartz timepieces.
• Perform complete services, dial and hand fittings, and partial repairs on a wide variety of luxury watch movements.
• Perform all repairs using manufacturer-approved techniques, specialized tools, and industry best practices.
• Accurately allocate replacement parts to the repair order and order parts as needed per procedures.
• Ensure all completed repairs meet manufacturer specs and internal quality standards.
• Conduct thorough quality inspections on repaired watches to ensure top workmanship.
• Maintain a clean, organized workstation and ensure tools remain in good condition.
• Meet productivity targets while maintaining quality and turnaround time.
• Collaborate with the sales team, Service Center staff, and other departments with technical input.
• Communicate repair findings, timelines, and service recommendations clearly to team and staff.
• Assist in providing accurate repair estimates and ensuring client satisfaction.
• Participate in ongoing technical training and manufacturer certification programs.
