Job summary

Fontana in Burbank, CA is looking for a Tool & Die Technician who can operate all tool room equipment with minimal supervision to produce accurate dies and tooling. You will read manufacturing and tooling prints, calculate tool dimensions, and maintain tooling quality while following safety guidelines.

You will also perform preventative maintenance, use the M1 system, and assist with cycle counts and annual inventories.

Qualifications

• Fluent English with strong verbal and written communication.
• Strong troubleshooting skills relevant to tool & die processes.
• Ability to read manufacturing and tooling prints and select proper tools.
• Able to perform mathematical calculations for tool geometry and tolerances.

Responsibilities

• Operate all tool room equipment with no supervision to meet quality and productivity requirements.
• Read prints and prepare tools to meet tolerances.
• Use tool room gauges and inspection equipment.
