Job summary

Smart Care is seeking a field service technician to service commercial kitchen equipment across restaurant and hospitality sites. The role focuses on diagnosing and repairing cooking, refrigeration, and ware-washing equipment, supported by on-the-job and formal training.

You will read diagrams, perform on-site diagnostics, and coordinate with manufacturers for parts. A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel and participate in on-call rotations are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 2 years of technical experience in refrigeration, kitchen equipment, HVAC, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Service commercial kitchen equipment including cooking, refrigeration, ware-washing and related systems.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair equipment on-site; read diagrams and schematics to identify issues.
• Coordinate with manufacturers for parts identification and technical support when needed.
• Prepare and submit accurate work orders, time reports, and inventory records.
• Maintain a clean, organized service vehicle and adhere to safety procedures.
• Assist fellow technicians with troubleshooting and knowledge sharing.
