Job summary

AutoNation in Leesburg, VA is seeking a Certified Technician to perform vehicle repair and maintenance per dealer and factory standards, with emphasis on safety and reliability.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of experience as automotive technician.
• Automotive technical training (store requirements vary).
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Valid in-state driver?s license with a safe driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle repair and maintenance as outlined on the repair order with efficiency and accuracy.
• Communicate with Parts Department and Service Advisors to manage production and customer communication.
• Diagnose the cause of malfunctions and perform repairs as authorized by the customer.
• Conduct multi-point inspections to ensure safety and reliability of customer vehicles.
• Document work performed on the repair order.
• Maintain inventory of tools and special tools as needed by the service department.
• Stay current on factory bulletins and participate in training classes.
• Provide an exceptional customer experience to drive loyalty.
