Job summary

AutoNation in Buford, GA is seeking a Non-Certified Technician to inspect vehicles on delivery and perform minor repairs to ensure saleable condition. You will drive vehicles to test operation and use hand tools to complete adjustments.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Inspect vehicles for compliance with safety regulations and defects.
  • Start engine and drive the vehicle to test operation of steering, braking, transmission and engine.
  • Activate power equipment (windows, seats, radio, lights) to verify standards.
  • Install or repair equipment per customer specifications using hand tools.
  • Perform minor mechanical repairs and adjustments.
  • Tune engines using test equipment as needed.
