Job summary

AutoNation in Buford, GA is seeking a Non-Certified Technician to inspect vehicles on delivery and perform minor repairs to ensure saleable condition. You will drive vehicles to test operation and use hand tools to complete adjustments.

A valid driver’s license and basic mechanical skills are required. The company provides training, OEM certification support, and opportunities for advancement across its nationwide locations.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Inspect vehicles for compliance with safety regulations and defects.
• Start engine and drive the vehicle to test operation of steering, braking, transmission and engine.
• Activate power equipment (windows, seats, radio, lights) to verify standards.
• Install or repair equipment per customer specifications using hand tools.
• Perform minor mechanical repairs and adjustments.
• Tune engines using test equipment as needed.
