Job summary

Ulta Beauty is seeking a Master Stylist to engage guests, consult on hair care needs, and deliver a full range of services including cutting, coloring, styling, and extensions. You will support store leadership with service sales, guest service, and store procedures while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety.

The role requires a cosmetology license and previous relevant experience, with a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Proficiency with latest salon techniques for haircutting, haircolor, lightening, styling, texture, treatment, extensions, makeup, and ear piercing where applicable.
• Proficiency with equipment and chemicals needed to perform technical work.
• Proficiency to demonstrate, recommend and sell pro hair care and makeup products.
• Developed communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships and clientele.

Responsibilities

• Engage with guests, consult on hair care needs and recommend products/services.
• Deliver quality professional services with emphasis on guest’s total look.
• Support managers through performance, people, and process focus.
