You will diagnose, service, and repair a wide variety of equipment, with a primary focus on chainsaws, push mowers, zero-turn riders, trimmers, and blowers. The role requires 2+ years of hands-on experience and deep knowledge of carburetors, ignition systems, hydraulic drives, fuel injection, and centrifugal clutches.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on experience repairing small engines and outdoor power equipment.
• Deep understanding of carburetors, ignition systems, hydraulic drives, fuel injection systems, and centrifugal clutches.
• Experience reading schematics, parts diagrams, and service manuals.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long shifts.

Responsibilities

• Diagnostics & repair: perform electrical, mechanical, and fuel system diagnostics on small engines.
• Maintenance & overhauls: tune-ups, blade sharpening, oil changes, major rebuilds or carb overhauls on 2- and 4-stroke engines.
• Chainsaw specialty work: rebuild top/bottom ends, tune carburetors, service bar/chain assemblies, test safety braking systems.
• Customer & parts coordination: document service work orders, estimate costs/labor, communicate parts needs to inventory manager.
• Shop safety & organization: maintain a clean, organized work area and follow safety guidelines.
