Job summary

The University Health KC Center for Sleep Health in Kansas City, Missouri seeks an OnSite Master Scorer (Daytime Technologist) for the Sheraton Hotel Sleep Lab. This role combines expert sleep study interpretation with leadership and mentoring of the sleep technologists.

You will score overnight polysomnographic studies, MSST/ MWT, review preliminary scores, and ensure high-quality, patient-centered care while upholding regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience scoring complex sleep studies.
• Current RPSGT and/or RRT-SDS credentials required.
• Current BCLS certification required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform expert scoring of overnight polysomnographic studies and advanced sleep procedures.
• Review and finalize technologists’ preliminary scoring for physician interpretation.
• Maintain monthly scoring accuracy meeting ISR gold-standard expectations.
• Mentor and coach sleep technologists; support training and onboarding.
• Assist in QA data worksheets and quality improvement initiatives.
• Adapt schedules and locations to meet center operational needs.
