Pay Rate: $36.00-45.00/hour

POSITION SUMMARY: This role involves maintenance and repair of customer equipment. The technician is trained in at least two skill sets, maintains high productivity, holds three of four CFESA certifications, and participates in on-call rotations. Leadership qualities are essential for mentoring and training others.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Adhere to safety policies and use personal protective equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair gas, electric, water, refrigeration, and steam-powered commercial kitchen and HVAC equipment.
• Document tasks using a tablet, including parts orders and work logs.
• Communicate professionally with customers about repairs and updates.
• Use proper tools, including hand and power tools.
• Monitor truck stock and maintain service vehicle, tools, and uniforms.
• Work independently with supervision.
• Participate in weekend/holiday on-call rotation and work overtime as needed.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Obtain correct part numbers from branch parts personnel.
• Collect payments on COD jobs.
• Contribute to branch response time and first-time fix rate goals.
• Engage in training to enhance skills and knowledge.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

CONTACTS:

• Internal: Daily with branch staff; occasionally with corporate staff.
• External: Frequent contact with customers; occasional contact with factories for warranty issues.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Background check and drug screening required.
• Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record.
• At least 1 year of relevant experience.
• CFESA Master Technician with three of four certifications.
