Use your mechanical knowledge, technical skills, and positive attitude to advance your career as a Master Service Technician on our exceptional team in our state-of-the-art, air-conditioned and heated shop. Team Gillman is hiring for our Volkswagen location in the Humble/Kingwood area. We seek a leader who can mentor technicians, diagnose and perform repairs efficiently, and communicate clearly with customers and service advisors.

Job Responsibilities

1. Discuss vehicle issues, current work, and future needs with customers and service advisors.
2. Diagnose, maintain, and repair automotive systems.
3. Perform quality inspections and test drives of vehicles before returning them to customers.
4. Communicate with service advisors regarding additional service needs and estimates for repairs.
5. Perform warranty repairs according to manufacturer specifications.
6. Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
7. Complete accurate paperwork reflecting the work performed.
8. Hold a valid state driver’s license for test drives.

Job Requirements

Master technicians should be persistent problem solvers with a thorough understanding of the latest automotive technologies.

Education and Experience

At least 4 years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
