Job summary

THG Beauty, including Bentley Laboratories in Edison, NJ, is seeking an Operations Master Scheduler. This role develops and communicates the long‑term production schedule to align demand, capacity, and material availability with business priorities.

The candidate will lead cross‑functional planning across Sales, Customer Service, Purchasing, and Quality, focusing on medium to long‑term horizons and optimization of manufacturing campaigns for efficiency.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years in production planning, scheduling, supply chain, manufacturing operations, or related field.
• Experience in cosmetic/pharma/OTC or regulated manufacturing is desirable, not essential.
• Experience developing or managing master production schedules in manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of capacity planning and production workflows.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems.
• Advanced Excel and data-analysis skills.
• Ability to analyze large operational data and translate into actionable plans.
• Excellent cross-functional communication and prioritization skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the Master Production Schedule (MPS) based on demand, orders, forecasts, inventory needs, and priorities.
• Maintain an 8–12+ week production outlook with longer-range visibility where practical.
• Translate customer demand into achievable production plans based on capacity.
• Assess capacity across equipment, labor, warehouse space, quality, and material availability.
• Identify and address capacity constraints, bottlenecks, and scheduling conflicts before they impact execution.
• Lead capacity vs. demand analyses and elevate issues to Operations leadership.
• Communicate production priorities aligned with customer requirements and business objectives.
• Coordinate with Purchasing, Planning, and Quality to ensure material availability and testing timelines.
• Partner with Operations leadership to optimize campaigns, reduce changeovers, and maximize utilization.
• Provide realistic production date commitments and monitor planned vs actual performance.
